This is a blog post on how to install the1001bitPro22PluginforSketchUp. It includes step-by-step instructions on how to download, import, and activate this plugin. This blog post will include some pictures as well as screenshots from my Sketchup project where I show exactly what happened through out the installation process. So if you're looking for a step-by-step guide with a lot of visuals on how to use this plugin then this is the blog post for you! One of ways that I look at things is that they are either "Good or Bad". Some things are neutral. So I'll use the "Framework of Good or Bad" to explain how I feel about this plugin. Each image has a description below it to explain what you are seeing in the picture. TIP: If you are using Windows 7, then when you right-click on an image then select "View Image", then you will see that image full screen instead of the picture being in the middle of text. It's very helpful for referencing images when reading blog posts. Here's my project... On the left is the Sketup Project - on the right-side of the image (look at bottom toolbar) you can see some open files... In this page I made an animated gif so you could see what happens when I start this plugin. This is a close up of one wall from my model. I made a text box to test out if this plugin works or not. Here's a screenshot from my project after running the script. It's hard to see but under "1001bitPro22" there are two red dots that turn green after a few seconds after running a script that was created by the 1001bitPro22 plugin for Sketchup. This is a close up of the text-box. Here's the text inside the box... I'm not really sure why it appears that way. From this image you can see that when I run the script that was created by this plugin (the option option at "1001bitPro22"), then all of my walls turn to wood-like texture and when I change this option back to "Default", then all of my walls turn back to the brick texture. Also, all of my surfaces get a material change... And also a bitmap texture is added to them. You can see the result in the next image. Here's an image of what happens when I select one wall and choose to "Turn To Wood" (the script option). Here's an image of how it looks like when I "Turn To Wood" AND when I play my animation. The above is a picture of how it looks with this plugin installed - compare that with below which is my project before I installed this plugin. Here are some screenshots from the original Sketchup project where I tested out this plugin for about an hour... Here are some more videos on Youtube with these walls...
